NEW LENS OPTIONS NOW AVAILABLE FROM VCD LABS

The next time you log in to place an order, you are going to see a brand new list of available lenses and a brand new interface. That’s because we are integrating our systems more closely with Rochester Optical to expedite the ordering process, improve product accuracy, increase our product offering, and reduce turnaround times.

Your Rochester Optical account number was sent to you in an email on Friday. Your password is your VCD Labs account number.

COMPLETE EYEWEAR

Once you get into the order portal, you’ll see all of our lens and frame options, but the layout may be unfamiliar. For Complete Eyewear, choose ‘Edged Lab Supply Frame.’ You’ll then be able to choose the frame model from a drop down list.

LENSES

We are now offering the most up to date IOT designs in progressive and single vision lenses. If you have been ordering the X100, select RO Digital Progressive. For an X10, choose standard single vision. For an X100 SV, choose digital single vision. We are also now offering Hoya, Seiko and Shamir lens designs.

ORDER STATUS

You’ll also be able to check job status from submission to shipment, as well as order history.

A FEW POINTERS
Additional lens brands and options are now available. You’ll see the Rochester Optical single vision, digital single vision and RO digital free form PAL options as well as many others including Hoya, Seiko and Shamir.

The ordering system allows you to place an order for complete eyewear, medicaid and an uncut lens all at once. Please ensure that you have chosen only the appropriate option for your order. If you do make a mistake, you’ll get a quick call from customer service to fix the issue.

When selecting cyl, you must enter plus or minus. The default is plus. Finally, if you don’t see Hard Coat under the coatings, don’t worry. Hard coating comes standard on every job. You’ll find factory clear hard coat under the color options.
